Afraid of demons

Not trying to start a religious conversation.
I’ve been wanting to post about this a long time. I’m really afraid I’m being attacked by demons. Sometimes they come into my house and I wake up screaming at them to get out of my house. Sometimes they just hover. It really scares me. Next time I see my pdoc I’ll talk about it. But in the meantime, what should I do?

For instance, my husband was watching a horror movie and we heard a knock at the door. He opened it but no one was there. That night I saw a demon come into our room and try to attack us.

Its the illness,

I used to have the same fears and hallucinations.

Are you very religious?

I am trying not to be religious but I do believe in Christianity and was in a really strict Baptist church for a long time. It has affected my whole life.

Me too,

And that’s what messed us up.

I had to get away from all religion to get relief from my delusions.

Did you just get away from organized religion or your beliefs too?

Both,

I figure if there is a God,

He understands that I am sick and can’t believe in his religion for my health.

Didn’t he make me this way?

Seems kind of cruel.

I also believe it’s demons very much. There’s no other way to explain it. But I see angels too. I don’t know if I’m being warned Against something or tortured or what
I told my pdoc about it. Of course he said it’s delutional

I’m not religious at all but i have the same delusion? Hard to think of it as a delusion. I definitely believe there is some paranormal stuff in the universe.
You should probably best talk to the pdoc.
I sometimes light incense or burn sage to cleanse the house. I dunno if it works

I always have cast them away in the name of Jesus.
It has always worked for me.
I’m sure this will get flagged, oh well.

You need to believe before you pray.

You should tell your husband not to watch horror movies in front of you. That’s not helping. It’s a trigger for you.

My dad had a hoverer when he was a teen. He said he knew it couldn’t hurt him so he just went to sleep

There was a Puerto Rican girl who lived in my house. She did that. The sage thing.
