About Aldi’s

So the Aldi’s near me delivers to your home BUT it’s all rotten, withering, out of date food. What is Aldi like by you???

I have to admit I’ve never heard of Aldi’s.

It’s a grocery store with food that’s a fraction of the cost of other grocery stores.

@everhopeful I’m trying to stick to fresh foods but I guess I could do that

Frozen food is just as good as fresh food

Aldi’s is okay, but I’ve never gotten delivery from there, and I don’t shop there often on account of their limited selection. At least, the Aldi’s in my area tend to be small with not much selection.

I mostly shop at Meijer (it’s like a Wal-Mart), or sometimes Kroger.

Isn’t that the grocer that has their carts locked, and you have to put in a quarter so they’ll move?

I just recently found out about Aldis.
There is one that delivers but I’m afraid to try it.
I don’t know about the quality.

I like Aldi’s. Sometimes the fresh produce like the fruit isn’t good. I go there often. I don’t like shopping there all the time because I can’t buy in bulk very well for a family of seven. But they do have very good deals.

Their produce isn’t the best. Their dry goods are fine though. I won’t get produce there anymore.

Yeah, but you get your quarter back when you return your cart. I think it’s a good idea; it keeps from having loose carts in the parking lot, taking up parking spaces and possibly blowing into your car.

@agent101g yes, that’s Aldi’s

Oh no, what a bummer you got bad food!

The Aldis in my city tend to be pretty good when it comes to dry food and vegetables. Although their meat isn’t anything grand.

Never heard of it. I don’t think they have those in Louisiana. I go to Shoppers Value or Walmart.

I wouldn’t have someone else pick out my produce.

I love Aldi’s! The one where I used to live used to have the best produce. I think because they went through it so quickly as everyone and their Uncle got produce there. You had to be fast with delivery days to get what you wanted because they were always busy and running out of the fancier items. They always had apples and bananas and lettuce and such, but if you wanted peas or watermelon or melons or pineapple, that sort of thing, you had to be quick.

Their dry and frozen goods are a great deal, too.

I often shopped at Aldi’s when I lived in Australia. But I did not buy produce from them. I only picked up dry goods.
