So I found this acapella on some site while looking for samples, so I made a beat and put it on top and it sounded preeety cool

I really mostly use a Kenny Beats 808 pack I got free on reddit lol. But I mix it a lot, eq, envelope stuff and distortion on this one
A lot of times I used to make my own, but Im just getting back into it so I feel Im not back to that level

yea it’s ok that you using that free pack. It sounds good so that is what matters. I like the quality of your productions.
Most important thing is that you enjoy making music. I should get into producing again soon also. I been on a quiet period where i’m not making much.

Yea I have no problem using sampled stuff
I do enjoy producing a lot but there are times I need breaks for sure. Getting back into it after tho is really fun

yea when i get back into it again i always enjoy myself too. It’s good having a creative outlet i think and music is awesome.

Definitely the creative outlet is basically my coping strategy with this illness
I just stop doing it when it feels like a chore, which it can sometimes if youre not inspired or feel obligated
