You can actually write happy poems. But since you won’t always feel happy no matter what your life is like you can always go back to your old style later.

actually not true! I used to write really cliche poems about cutting etc when I was depressed and young, and I can’t write them anymore, because too much cringe, but I still kinda like the ones I wrote, in a nostalgic way.

My happy poems don’t compare to my sad and mad poems. There’s probably a lot more layers to my anger than my happiness.
