Like everyone else in the world I’m highly motivated by that dopamine reward. But sometimes I think for us it’s medicinal. I have even wondered if that’s why like 99.9999999% of sz use some form of nicotine. Like self-medicating. Anyway, I’ve gotten myself on a dopamine drip now. It’s a fitness watch. Every time I move it counts toward a goal and I get a little drip of dopamine. Pretty cool.

Yes. It goes to your reward system in your brain and lets a tiny bit of dopamine go. You say hey! I just got 250 steps! Boom! Dopamine.

He means he feels good when he can track that he is closer to a goal.
I use an app for work called habitica. You set goals and tasks and you get gold coins and health points for your warrior character. Then you can upgrade their armour and stuff.
