People say that high heels are demeaning to women because they impede a woman’s locomotion. I think it’s more true that they empower women because they make women taller and have some utility as a weapon.

Princess Pixel is now several inches taller than Mrs. Pixel, her mother. She’s also only 14 and there is still a possibility she will catch up to me (I’m 5’10"). Mrs. Pixel was not amused. More troubling, The Princess now wears size 11 men’s shoes and her feet are still growing. There’s nothing in the Ladies section of a shoe store that fits her now unless she special orders. The kid blames my genetics for that.

i’m 5’6’’ and a half I wear size 10s in womens. I call my partner little sister short stuff. Short stuff is 9 years old and already reaching 5 foot. She says it’s only a matter of time before she starts calling me short stuff.
