A couple of poems I wrote....sorry if they suck!

here are some poems I wrote for creative writing. They are pretty dark-themed, and I am sorry if they disturb you…

Darkness falls
I am sitting outside again and again
Waiting for night to fall.
I am called crazy for it
Though I don’t mind at all.
I am a creature of the night,
The darkness is my time.
The night is what I love
I look at it and truly feel
God’s love from infinitely above.

Black roses
I am sitting at my window sill
Crying my eyes out
When suddenly I can hear you
Outside, creeping about.
I think of who is out there,
Sneaking underneath my window,
When, suddenly,
I hear another noise down below.
I look at your retreating form,
Wondering what it was for
That you are by my window
And not at my door.
Suddenly I look down and gasp,
And, seeing but not believing,
I am feeling aghast.
For there lay on the ground
With a ribbon tied so
A black rose lay there,
With a red ribbon in a bow.

Let me sleep
If this is a dream
Don’t wake me
For night is nigh.
I take comfort in the night
In the darkness and cool shadows.
I am a creature of the Darkness
My flower is a black rose.

Voices
I am not normal
For as you can tell
I see that which no one else
Sees, hears, or feels.
They talk blindly
Inside my head.
I can feel
My face turning red.
I tell them to be quiet,
But they don’t.
For they can
But, really,
They won’t

Enough
Do you get a kick out of hurting me?
What do you like to see?
Do you do this blind
Or do you see inside my mind?
I cannot stand this,
I cannot have you near,
Because of all
The things you make me see and hear.

The darkness in my heart
All I can see now
When these wounds smart
Is you
And how you made
This darkness in my heart.

Your poem Black roses made me think of Darkening of the Light by Concrete Blonde. A major difference between their song and your poem, they express how the darkening of the light permits an unnecessary retreat, whereas the black rose in your poem is proof you saw a retreating form.

enough is sick! that’s some lyric ■■■■ right there.

And btw:
“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable” -Bansky

hū… i never thought of that…

XD thanks, i came up with these on the fly…
