how to solve
(2+2) = 4
so then 8÷2(4)
2(4)=8
finially
8÷8 = 1
8÷2(2+2)=1
8÷2×4 =1
8÷8=1
8/8=1
1=1

8÷2×4=16

addition, then multiplication, then division.

P.E.M.D.O.S Method calculators don’t do it … look it up then your get right answer.
Calculator’s only do left to right math not p.e.m.d.o.s. method…
so for calculator to work put the () in first then rest of problem
as example (2+2)2/8
will then equal 1

So if a train is five minutes late and is traveling at 120 Km/hr and will arrive at its destination in 52 minutes. How many Km are left in the trip? But wait somebody put a penny on the track that results in a derail and the train was carrying 77 passengers and only one survived how long before said surviving passenger appears on Oprah?

Technically the answer is 16 because in the pemdas method multiplication and division are done at the same time from left to right.
However this expression is written terribly and in order to stop confusion should be written as 8/2 ×(2+2). Because then it would be done 8/2 × 4 Which then becomes 4×4 which equals 16
If it was intended to have the answer be 1 it should be written 8/2(2+2) because then you would solve the equation below the line first. So 8/2(4) and then 8/8 which equals 1
