Hi again. Spoke with my psychiatrist today. He increased the lyrica to 75mg twice daily from 50 mg twice daily.
Hopefully this will help my anxiety because I have bad anxiety and restlessness. He asked me if the restlessness worsened since starting abilify. I dont think so because I’ve always been like that only its worsened a bit.
The other thing he told me was that once I finish at the clinic I’m to go back to my original psychiatrist and be under his care only. I thought I was going to remain a patient at the clinic but so far that is not what’s planned.
I really dont know what’s going on except that this psychiatrist liasoned with my main psychiatrist and that’s the plan they came up with.
Anyway the lyrica I hope will help the anxiety. All other meds stay the same. I told him about the horrible visual thoughts I have been having, plus the thoughts my neighbor’s are reading my mind , watching me and recording me. He asked had i any evidence of recording. I said No.
He asked me about covid19 how I felt about it, I said I dont care about it. That was it basically.
Do any of you take lyrica at the same dose as me and does it help your anxiety .
Got my lyrica. Its 75mg twice daily so doc increased by 100 mg per day. Was taking 50 mg divided into two doses all along. I’m due to be assessed in two weeks time again by psychiatrist.
Hopefully the bigger dose will help my anxiety. It’s still a small enough dose pharmacy said for lyrica.
Hi I take it at night as well as in the morning. I also take quietapine at night. Not sleeping the best st the moment, restless so maybe the 75mg of lyrica will help for sleeping.
