5G Mobile Internet has been superseded by 5.5G or also know as 5G+. My postpaid mobile phone plane includes 5G+ connecting at a possible maximum of 2Gbps. 150GB of data, Hot Spot capable as well as a smartwatch plan are included for $100/month. 5G+ is great for Google Maps. My smartwatch plan allows me to make credit card purchases using my Samsung Galaxy Pro smartwatch de-attached from my smartphone. Very convenient.

I’ve just ordered a 5G router. I already have a 4G router , and that acts as my wifi. But I’m only getting between 10mbps and 25 mbps.

My phone has 5G, but I have never bothered checking the speed. It’s plenty fast. I pay $85/mth for 100GB. I no longer have a Samsung smart watch. Found that a $25 watch from Temu is doing everything I need and holds a charge longer.

We have 5G in some places

But it never turned out to be the massive upgrade they said it would be over 4G

I have 5G+ too. I pay $32 a month for my phone service with unlimited calls and texts. The guy swore the price will never go up but I think that’s too good to be true and that they will find some way to gouge me for more money. I also pay just $9.95 a month for internet service and they swore that will never go up either. Before I switched to Comcast/Xfinity I was paying about a $100 for internet and phone with AT&T.

Stating that a monthly service fee for a contract that is 2-years in duration should be honoured. I am on a 2-year contract paying the same monthly amount that leases my smartphone. $10 for home Internet service is too cheap for today’s Internet services unless this price was paid during the 1990s. Price inflation for goods & services will occur and has been for tge past 50-years in Westernized countries. Can’t say the same for state-own capitalist countries of which have a different economic system.
