Well so far I’ve met my calorie goals every day but not the exercise or step count goals. I help a friend move out of his house yesterday and into a new home. That was about 3 hours of hard work.
Was at University orientation for past few days. I walked about 10 miles a day and ate fairly well but could not log it due to not knowing what everything was yet and having little control over what we could eat.
Been exercising, but not tracking. Worked 16 hours yesterday and burned over 2000 calories. Ate a chocolate bar around 8 pm as I was crashing.
I eat exactly the same thing every day on our poverty shopping…we each have two scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and then in the afternoon we each have two hot dogs. with buns and ketchup and sriacha sauce. that’s it…I’ve lost 45 pounds and I’m getting noticed by my family for it…good thread.
I’m trying to get back to eating hard boiled eggs as they wipe out my appetite.
Their high in cholesterol so eat in moderation.
Ready to join in for weightloss and well- being. Started tracking my weight in July everyday. Then 2 weeks ago I started with under 100 carbs and have lost 10 pounds from m highest in July. Joining a gym tomorrow to break my alcohol habit. Let’s go!
I kind of fell off the wagon. Working 10-15 hour days again because of harvest and a co-worker with incredible timing when it comes to taking his vacation. Friiiiig.

Okay, I completely blew up. Feel gross. Resetting on Monday. Try try again, right?
Resetting today. Tracking. Did some walking. Gotta get back on the rails. Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, y’know?
1/30 success.
Gonna make it thru this week if it kills me.
I overate for 2 days then only ate about a 1000 calories the past 2 days. Did 4 hours of kayaking yesterday. Half of that was into the wind and against the current so we only made it 5 miles.
I lost 1kg in 8 days, at 1200 kcal a day
2/30 success. Burned over 1000 calories at work and kept consumption to about 1700 calories (wife snuck me a piece of banana bread, which pushed me over 1500).
3/30 success. Think I burned around 700 calories yesterday at work and I kept out of the chips and chocolate bars.
I’m starting over beginning today. No more alcohol, getting back on track with calorie counting and trying to get @ least 30 minutes of exercise. Yesterday I hiked 5.6 miles.
30 days almost over. I started mid-way, lost another half a kilo.
I think I gained. Fell off the wagon AGAIN. Working super long days followed by volunteering and no time to plan healthy meals. This sucks.
How is everyone doing with the 30 day challenge?
I was up to 280 days on MFP and all of a sudden it went to 0 days. I’m kinda mad about it. So I was all angry and haven’t logged in in a few days. I know I’ve been hitting my goal calorie wise without the counting. I’ve given up on not drinking alcohol for the time being. I’m not ready to quit right now, even though I know its a bunch of empty calories and not good for me.
But overall I haven’t gained or lost anything. The blister on my heel is healing nicely. I walked 2 miles today in charity walk. Hope to start a walking program tomorrow as this thing continues to heal. My goal is still the same. Stay under my calorie goal, 30 minutes of exercise each day and try to get near those 10,000 steps. I’d like to do the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K with some friends and be able to run the whole way. So I’m going to work towards that, that gives me 2 months to work up to a 5K running.
