I went to alcoholics anonymous in 2003ish and got lucky as they helped.
But I had a āslipā 10 years ago and that reset my sobriety clock unfortunately.
Iām still an alcoholic so canāt drink.

I had six years of sobriety not long ago, but I too slipped. Now I have about three months of sobriety. Life is so much easier when you donāt chase after that bottle.

I donāt keep track of my sobriety date because I did a little control drinking some years ago. If you count an eye drop of alcohol Iāve been clean and sober five years. And weed is legal here but fk that!

Congrats. I have nothing against alcohol, probably cause iāve never had a real problem with it. I can drink when I want and be happy, and then go forever without.
But I am a smoker and know how bad being addicted to something is, so very very good for you!

I too have been sober for perhaps almost 5 years now? I have not been keeping track very well. But I honestly donāt want any liquor ever again. It feels good and I feel better too! Iām sure you do too!
