I had been on just clozapine for a while, it helped me fix my sleep hygiene, but was still hearing voices even at a moderate dose.
My doc added cipralex, which helped me not obsess over thought broadcast. But sexual side effects were too much for me to handle so I quit that.
Finally added on Fluvoxamine, which is said to increase clozapine in your system without actually taking more clozapine. Sexual side effects are tolerable and my voices are about 70% quieter. I felt the effects the same day I started the dose.
I’m pretty happy that I finally found a combination of drugs that works for me,
just wanted to share my experience on this combo of drugs, in case you’re already on clozapine and are treatment resistant like me.
