But oh no there’s been a cock up and the one for me isn’t there. So rebooked for tomorrow afternoon.
I’m ordered to bed rest because my pacemaker has partially failed and I’m rather dependent on it. I can’t get it replaced promptly because the hospital that does the replacements has exhausted its funding for the year and has cancelled “elective” surgeries. I’m dead if my pacer fails the rest of the way, but, hey, we’re saving money! (More so if I die.)
The next person who tells me how wonderful Canadian health care is gets punched in the nose.
Oh jeeze. Sorry about that.
I hope something can be sorted for you soon.
Same for you, mate. Not cool to have them messing up your depot.
@shutterbug Take care of yourself and get some rest.
Can your cardiologist advise the hospital this is not elective surgery? I assume they would not be able to ignore the cardiologist’s expert opinion.
