I agree with you. I also see it as mass surveillance of people. but I recently discovered that when I let go of my fear, sometimes they stop making sounds. when I stopped my anti psychotica medication in 2023, they started to bother me (every time I feel fear.) but feeling fear is human so I think it is unfair.

You took the words right out of my mouth! That is something that has bothered me for a long time, we’re all human beings for crying out loud! I don’t care if you’re Autistic, Schizophrenic, OCD, ADD, someone with no mental disorders, black, white, purple, orange, fat, skinny, etc… we’re all fcking hueman beings! We should all be treated as such. But sadly (and I’m sure everyone here can agree to an extent) that most huemans treat other huemans like dirt! Like what in the actual fck?!
It really is sad that some of the positions where people seem to be at there worst are staff at psychiatric facilities. Everyone. Nurses, techs, doctors. There all horrible in the looney bin. And the worse of a place your in the worse they treat you. There do also tend to be a couple exceptions. Some lights in the darkness. God bless those people.
In our local hospital the staff don’t really engage with the patients at all
My guess would be that that’s the result of a ton of complaints. I’d definitely rather be avoided than abused.
For real!
@Joker Not surprising there. When I went to the retirement home for my Uncle, the nurses literally did nothing but sat around. Maybe occasionally they’d get up and do something for someone, but when a patient’s light went off, they would just be like “I’m gonna wait a bit.” or something like that. It’s absolutely terrible the way they treat retired people (and my Uncle was a retired vet!), and the sad part is, they get away with it. If I ever get married, we’d go to the hospital as a last resort.
My old neighbour had dementia
She lived alone
Noticed the carers were only there 10mins at a time
Spoke to her nephew and he said they were being paid for an hour each time
That’s neglect…
Geezus…that’s terrible…
The nursing home thing is awful
Here it costs hundreds and hundreds per week
But I think a lot of these people are still paid minimum wage
Well, I know here in the U.S. after covid, the quality of care people get has been reduced. Hospitals are practically begging people to come in and work, cause most are short-staffed.
