Writing: Stranger in the Center - Humor from the Margins

Hello Normies
You’ve entered a strange new land.

TL;DR
You’re weird.
We’re weird.
Everyone’s Weird.
Let’s stop pretending anyone’s on the outside.

For once,
you are not the observer —
you’re being watched.
Feel weird?
Good.

That’s what it feels like for us —
all the time.

When we stim.
When we spiral.
When we say something that doesn’t land.
When we talk too fast, or not at all.

You are now inside the fishbowl.
Breathe.
Reality Check:

You’re Not as Normal as You Think
Normal isn’t a fact.
It’s consensus illusion.

You think in loops too — just social ones:
Compliment loops.
Apology loops.
“How are you?” — “I’m fine.”
“How are you?” — “I’m fine too.”

But we don’t need the loop.
We read your mind.
You are not fine.

You don’t want reality.
You ask what we think —
but only if we lie kindly.

You laugh when we stim in public.
We laugh when you break down.
because your coffee order was wrong.

It’s equal-opportunity absurdity.

You offer hugs and words.
We offer silence that hugs.

You bring casserole.
We bring word salad.
Neither is better.

We know you try. But we also try.

We were all built for the world.
Some of us different.
