Thanks to the drugs councillor from youth offending team who got me off drugs and opened my eyes to the manipulation and poor treatment by so called friends

He is one of the key people who I had in my life that made a huge difference to me and my family

On this site one of the longest standing members here opened my eyes to the fact Olanzapine was something I needed to avoid

Because of this person I realised the side effects of meds and learned to advocate for better medication and treatment

Even shared personal experiences that really helped me understand the toll it was taking

I am eternally grateful for all the help I’ve received throughout long harsh years of suffering.

Doctors, family, friends, this forum and its wonderful co-members.

Maybe fate decided to intervene too, because after a first 3-4 gruesome years, my negative symptoms have improved and I am now functional again.

Thank you all ! Keep being there for me, if possible ! I know that’s a lot to ask.
