I’m a good judge of character. By the time I have a girls Whatsapp number it’s my first order of business to FaceTime so no catfishing.
Then it’s like, pretty obvious when your dealing with a real kid versus a gold digger, you know?

I had a romance scammer scam me out of photos as we had chatted day n night for a month.
He said he was my boyfriend.
I’m happy for you that you are happy and excited but do be careful.
A man I know was romance scammed to take a loan on his own house to buy an engagement ring worth a fortune to a woman overseas he never met.
And yeah they never met and she has the ring worth a fortune unless it was scammers using her photo and she wasn’t the real scammer.

It can go either way.
I’ve known people who met their spouses on dating sites.
I’ve also known people who talked to real people who gained their trust over time and then tried to get money etc out of them.
Be careful.
It’s ok to date online, just use street smarts
