Would you tell others the way you do well in life?

Like if doing these and that help you recover from schizophrenia, would you share and tell this person?Share with specific person or just anyone suffering?

I do share. I take pride in my recovery. Most people don’t understand, but the pleasure in sharing is there.

I used to be like “■■■■ it lets go ■■■■ ■■■■ up and smoke cigarettes and drink Guinness”

Now I’m like “let’s vape if we can’t kick smoking and lets exercise to be fit not to lift 500lbs and lets all do the best we can”

But really I mean a 40oz beer would be great right about now

And a bold cigarette I mean an unfiltered one

I would tell them. ThoUgh it may be scary at first, seeing their reaction of inspiration will keep me going. You’d be surprised how many people can support you after telling them about your MI.

Yes it’s my goal to help people

Work with your doctor, take meds as directed, eat and exercise the best you can, and keep a positive attitude. Those are the main things that have worked for me. I have also treated my Sz like a brain injury for the past two decades and I’m constantly doing what I regard as ‘cognitive rehabilitation’. Puzzles, brain teasers, writing, memory games, brain training games, etc. I do at least half an hour of this per day.
