I’ve known people who were neither attractive nor smart, but who had great social success because of their social skills. Sometimes a person can be intriguing in the way they express themselves. They don’t measure social skills on IQ tests, but maybe they should.

People tell me I’m smart, and I think I’m attractive.
Its the subjective matter of just how much of either of those things you actually are, that matters.
Once I cut my weight down I might be solid b tier stuff for my own opinion, but honestly women can be pretty harsh and it all matters about who you want to be attractive to, and whom you want to seem smart to.
If I were really so smart I wonder if I wouldn’t already be succeeding in a career despite my troubles with this illness.

It’s a hard question there are different forms of beauty and different forms of intelligence.
I think it’s mainly important to be comfortable with yourself whatever you are on those spectra’s.

I don’t know anything about that case; but, I believe false accusations are not uncommon. Thus due process.
If you don’t believe that a person being smart and running their mouth about the wrong things can encourage private individuals to pursue false charges, ask Socrates.
(Edit) Anyway, on the question of smart or attractive, the question really isn’t well defined enough for me. If we are talking about skin-deep beauty vs. understanding, wisdom, quickness, and intelligence, the latter win hands down for a male in the US. Male good looks don’t pay the bills. (/Edit)

I totally agree about due process . I do know there was a poster at the time, who wasn’t a regular poster, who was cock a hoop/gloating about it. He’d had a major disagreement with the accused person.

I was always considered both attractive and intelligent. In my youth anyway. Now I look at myself as ugly and dumb as a doorknob.

With much wisdom comes much sorrow. Trial and error and repetitively failing forward, knowledge of how helpless we really are in the world. Selfless, sacrificial discipline to the point of misery. Sitting in a chair for 12 hours a day till your butt and bones are sore from lack of use in a sedentary computer job locked away in a cubicle. Sounds fantastic.
