I wouldn’t because there might be a reason why. I would drink in a bar.
I like it when there aren’t a lot of people in a restaurant it’s quieter.
The worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten was fully booked, so it’s no guarantee.
I’ve done it before
A new restaurant was just opened near my house, and I have been going there frequently. I like supporting new businesses, it would be sad if he got no customers.
Been there done that.
I tend to go during off hours to avoid crowds so empty restaurants are normal to me.
You have given up on quitting drinking?
I’ve done it before

I would definitely eat there, especially if money wasn’t an issue
I love empty restaurants.
I can’t eat in crowded ones because they make me panicky and nauseous.
I’ve done that many times. And wasn’t disappointed.
You could better hear what they’re talking in the kitchen
Your a very bad man. ![]()

I always check for stiffs on the floor, under the tablecloths before I eat. Kept me alive so far ![]()

Yeah I have eaten by myself at empty restaurant before and would do it again.
I don’t want to eat at the cafes in my town or go there because they make it clear they don’t want to serve me and when I say hello they usually don’t say hello back and are mean spirited like majority in this town that bully vibe n exclude me etc but i don’t want to be with such people anyway.
Been too many years of turning the other cheek at them walk all over me .
I can still go to pub n tradies although some of their staff look like they don’t want to serve me either.
When waitresses and staff are mean spirited at me and make it clear I’m not welcome then eventually I stop going back.
Put my money towards nicer more welcoming places.
When I lived in the board & care home in the early nineties an Italian restaurant opened downtown. Me and my friend would walk by it and it was pretty fancy with plush curtains on the windows, nice tablecloths and candles on the tables and expensive looking artwork on the walls. But we walked by it several times a week on our way to and from AA meetings and we never saw a soul eating inside the restaurant. It was always brightly lit and new looking.
After a few months we went inside one night to have dinner and we were the only ones there. We had some pizza and that was the only time we ate there and the place was a huge mystery to us. How could they afford to stay open with so little clientele? We finally came to the conclusion that since it was Italian it was run by the mafia, lol. And the mob had invested all their money into a high quality place that could afford to stay open indefinitely without much business. That was the only explanation that fit. I moved away and I don’t get downtown much; that place may still be there.
