I live with my grandma and she’s 81. I consider her old. But 112? Damn.

I heard that being social or at least keeping good relationships is the key to happiness and long life. Imo it also includes whether you see those people or not, for example if you were a monk and simply praying and thinking of your loved ones a lot.

There’s a popular centarian on YouTube who smokes cigars every day, drinks, etc he said he doesn’t inhale tho. I agree somewhat with this take. I think he is a very moderate person.

Life is a balance. Not metaphorically. Literally it’s the balance of organs functioning in the body. If we upset that balance, organs fail and the whole body dies. That’s why I think moderation is a key.

The most important things in life are the people in our lives too. So keeping good relationships will keep our emotions moderate.

All in moderation I guess, like Aristotle said

I suspect/worry you’re correct.
I have 9hrs support/wk. I see one friend one day a month. And I have come close to losing her recently.
Outside of that it is very rare for me to spend time with anyone.
Years ago I stayed one year with my LPA’s mother and when I told her about a historic diagnosis of moderate depression she said ‘at least [I’d] achieved moderation at something’!
I was annoyed today hearing I am supposed to have my cirrhotic liver scanned for cancer every six months as I have had just one scan in eight years.
I once did an online longevity calculation test and apparently I had died long ago.
I just want to live long and well enough to sing/record an opera aria of which I’m not too ashamed, then I don’t mind going.
Some memento that my life wasn’t a COMPLETE waste.

I’m sure you’ve done a lot of great things in n your life and helped a lot of people. That’s what’s important ultimately I think.

If you live to 112 years, laws should not apply to you. Do what you want to you. :balloon::balloon::balloon:
