Working three hours a day

It’s my new schedule. 3 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays and four hours on Fridays. I think those are pretty good hours.

I only worked one 7 hour day this week. Just so much going on between wedding and house repairs. I probably will do the same next week. After that I may go back to more hours. But I am looking for a different job as this one is too hard on my body.

Good luck with your schedule, Nick.

What other jobs are you thinking of? My job is easy, but I still have difficulty doing it.

Currently on lunch break and a bit tired.

I work 30 hours / week, remotely aka from home, flexible schedule.

My (part-time) job requires software development knowledge and strong tolerance for rapidly changing requirements / specifications. I rarely have a say in the business decision processes. I often see my work tossed aside or replaced after only a few months. So there are reasons to be frustrated, but there are reasons to be proud too. I’m able to harness some of my brain’s potential to do something good (without going into details, the program we develop aims to make the world a safer place).

If I worked less hours, I could run into financial issues since this is my only source of income. I also wouldn’t know how to spend so much free time and I’d be prone to depression.

I applied at the old security job that I used to work. Other than that, I’m not sure. Stocking at a store maybe.
