Why you shouldn’t completely cut out onions & garlic from your diet

Onions and garlic contain quercetin. A powerful detoxifying agent.

Garlic has way less, but onions are rich in quercetin.

I don’t like onions, they depress my mood, but I’ve figured out I like garlic. Garlic lifts my mood.

Onions and garlic are cousins, they are related.

Because garlic doesn’t have as much quercetin as onions, I make garlic peel tea, which is loaded with quercetin.

The peel of garlic has 14x as much quercetin as garlic pulp.

Onions are good for you but some people avoid them for personal reasons. I don’t do well with onions, and I found out a few months ago that I have no problem with garlic.

I I used to always think garlic was the culprit for me, but it turned out onions don’t like me, but I like them lol.

Yes I love the taste of onions, of course, but I’m better off without them apparently.

Quercetin is in lots of food but it’s concentrated more in onions and garlic (mostly garlic skin/peel).

If you avoid quercetin foods you will become sick.

Apples are also great source of quercetin, but you must eat the skin of the apple.

I just had a good cuppa garlic skin/peel tea, and because I cut down on quercetin for a while I was starting to feel sick, but the garlic peel tea has topped me up. Now my quercetin levels are healthier, thanks to garlic peel tea.

Garlic peel tea has no garlic taste and won’t cause smelly breath, and it’s nicely sweet. I don’t add sugar though. I like sugar, but I don’t think the tea needs sweetener as it’s sweetened naturally.

i freakin love garlic. i can eat like 10 cloves on their own raw in one sitting lol

I know. I used to avoid it all the time, but now I know the importance of quercetin, I DEFINITELY need it.

I find if I eat too much garlic then my breathe does get smelly, but if I have garlic every other days it’s ok, but I can’t eat it all the time or my mood dampens a bit

Raw onions Yuk!
But I can handle them if they are cooked, in moderation.
Same with garlic

Now and then I order a kfc or curry which have onions, but sadly I suffer badly a few days after, but it’s kinda worth it
