I don’t mean baseball caps. Nice pretty hats. I think I might have to find one some day. Would that be silly?

We still have social gatherings like horse racing where women wear facinators and hats. My little niece often has headgear and it’s adorable. It’s not a dying art but hats are common out here where the sun has some bite. Usually from 10 am on in summer the sun is considered dangerous so we have lots of hats…I realize this is a bit different in your cold climates.

Our summers are very hot. We have the largest temperature spread of anywhere in Canada. From -35 in winter to +35 in summer.
