Again, these Side - effects may affect differently, some not at all, but science says Valproate gives Testicular atrophy, with over 99 % certainty . . It doesn’t say how much or, how long it takes . . Just, that it does . . You may be lucky and, get the side - effects very slowly so, it’s no concern . .

The 99% certainty refers to the difference between the two groups, not to how common the side effect is. There is a 99% certainty there there is some kind of difference between the groups, no matter how small. It could still only affect a few people.
