Why do a lot of guys like going for much younger girls

Just wondering

or do I stand to be corrected

I think it makes them feel younger,

Plus, it’s a status thing.

The opposite is true too, I have seen young boys going out with older women. The friend of my friend is 28 years old and his gf is 45 y.o.

I used to be into slightly older women. But I’m 37, and women that age are basically infertile, so I’m now aiming for like late 20’s / early 30s.

I am aiming for like between 32 and 34 I guess.

I know its quite a narrow window.

I get attracted to older and younger though but for a relationship I think I want slightly older, not younger

hm maybe not even 34 maybe same age as me lol

but something cool when bit older for the guy, like they are the wise protector of me

just don’t want them to die much sooner than me and stuff

You know your “imago”. People can’t change that.

You’re calling older women a lesser cut of meat?

Same reason why older women like younger men.

which is ?

Let’s put it this way, women found me attractive during my 20’s.
It’s a different story in my 50’s.

Women in their twenties and thirties are just young and fresh and full of life and at that age it just seems they would be very enthusiastic and interested in sex. And I don’t mean to put women my age down but younger women are healthy and everything is still pointing up. I guess this makes me look bad but this is the way it is. But fear of embarrassing myself keeps me from doing anything but looking.

I mean it’s “young”, but if you’re interested in kids you are going to have a hard time. A woman has like 3% of her eggs at that point.

yea you are right

it is not good if i waste my 30s and just blindly wander into my 40s still unprepared for life

holy crap ok good to know

for those who want kids

but I guess its still fine

I mean my mum had kid in her 40s and they test for down syndrome before it is too late for abortion

I misspoke, it’s actually 3%. But still, very hard to have kids at that age.

Most of the time (appx 90%), men (appx age 50-75) who date women (appx age 18-24) are coming off of a divorce. The ex-wife (appx same age as the man) has exposed all of his flaws and has had enough.

Young women (18-24) may be drawn to older men who they think are mature and sophisticated, can hold a conversation, educated, good job, dresses well, etc. Men (18-24) may be seen as lacking those attributes to young women (18-24).

Thus it seems like the perfect match: the older man is admired (not the bum his ex-wife exposed in court), and the younger woman has a mature, sophisticated man.

That said, over time the man’s flaws are gradually exposed; and she sees him as an old man who used her in an attempt to fix his broken ego.

So it’s back to court. The woman is going to want many things, but maybe nothing more so than a man about her age.

It comes down to evolution.

Men and women want to have kids with someone that gives those kids the best chance of survival.
