ive noticed alot of people with schizophrenia, if they drink, are alcohols or have quit drinking because of alcoholism,
i have never had this problem and both my parents drink but very rarely and moderately, i have access to so much alcohol but dont drink often, but i also dont have sz negative symptoms, so maybe psychosis i have may be from a different condition
It’s often a drug people use to self medicate. That usually goes to extremes and becomes a problem.
I still enjoy mid strength beer. I don’t drink to get drunk and I don’t drink alone. You can still enjoy the odd drink but it depends on you and your meds.
