Who's a musician on here that plays for people like me?

I just wanted to share that playing guitar and singing for and with people at parties is just about the proudest I’ve felt in a long time…everyone sang to “stairway to heaven”…(if there’s a bustle in your hedgegrove, don’t be alarmed now…it’s just a spring clean for the MayQueen. anybody know what I’m talking about to play in front of a crowd? I think @SkinnyMe does…?

I’m not, but my mother’s fiancee is a great guitarist and vocalist. He leads a band that plays for a few bars in San Francisco. The one he has a regular gig at is called Blondie’s. It’s a hobby of his and he’s really, really good at it. I was thinking of asking him to teach me a little guitar. I will never be able to sing but the guitar looks fun!

It’d be nice to learn acoustic guitar. I used to sing. Wrote some Christian songs and put them on the internet but my ex husband took them off.

I’m so sorry @Loke darnit. that was cool though…why don’t you do it again ?

@agent101g wow that’s pretty awesome!

Thanks @jukebox. I can’t sing like I used to.

Yes, @jukebox, I know what it’s like to play successfully for a crowd. Although I’ve only done it a few times. Since then, my anxiety has gotten the better of me, unfortunately. Although, I do hope to play for a few people again in the future.:grinning:

I’m too shy to play for others. I sold my guitar, though. I only have a flute, french horn, and violin now, and there’s not usually much cause to play any of those at a party. Be a little weird. :crazy_face:

@Happy_H oh I think those instruments would be delightful at a party !!

@SkinnyMe sorry to hear about your anxiety…I beat a panic disorder by ignoring the fear of anxiety…took a while but now I am anxiety free.
