Who would you want to see in a concert

I can barely handle F2F AA meetings with 20 people. Attending a weekend AA roundup with 200 people incapacitates me for days. Part of the reason I function as well as I do is that I’m very aware of what my triggers are and I avoid the hell out of them.

Okay, I see. Even those small concerts always get me constantly checking my pockets to make sure no one has stolen my wallet, keys or phone. The usual paranoia is the only bad thing it does to me, though.

It’s sensory overload. I notice everything happening around me and my filters break down. I can filter a limited number of things at one time (e.g. voices). No amount of stimming gets me past large crowds.

I was due to see them but the gig got cancelled after Taylor Hawkins death

Have seen them twice now.

Really worth seeing them

My choice would be Linkin Park, but I can’t do that now :frowning:

I saw Bruce Springsteen in 1978. Best concert I ever went to.
Better than Led Zeppelin, better than the Rolling Stones, better than Pink Floyd, U2, R.E.M. or Aerosmith. I wished I would have gone to another concert of his when he was younger and in his prime. He had more charisma, stage presence and energy than any other lead singer I’ve ever seen. And it’s true that he gives 4 hour concerts.

What is it like to see the Foo Fighters band in person?

I’d like to see Skinny Puppy, back in the day. Musical, theatrical, what more can you ask?
