I went to university for vocal music. Then my sisters and i and our band went all.over the place singing at gospel fests etc. I quit about 10 years ago. I rarely even sing just with my kiddos around unless they beg
I have a horrible singing voice but I still sing along quietly to the iphone every now and then. I’ve listened to my playlist so long I know almost all the songs by heart (there’s like 100 songs).

I sang in a community choir and traveled to Italy twice. Most of us really weren’t that good but we hosted excellent choirs from Europe here and they reciprocated. I went to Venice and Florence mainly and also a pretty cool town called San Vito Al Tagliemente that has a big tower and is surrounded by a huge wall. I could have also gone to other countries too but I had my first breakdowns and couldn’t handle much stress anymore. I really liked Florence the most I think.
