Also JFK supported civil rights which was not a popular position in 1963.

As a Mexican immigrant, I have come to realize that for 2nd and 3rd generation Mexican Americans, sometimes called Chicanos… the Kennedys both John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy were politicians who’d make the ideal U.S. president. I have heard people talk about Cesar Chavez with his United Farm Workers having support from Robert Kennedy also I think they were okay with worker unions. I don’t mean to derail the assassination topic into a politics topic but I just mean those two guys are really loved by older latinos who were around in the 60’s. I think that may have to do a lot with what you mentioned about the civil rights.
Not to break any further rules, I do also believe it also had to do with their personal spiritual beliefs.

Back on topic, I have heard conspiracies as farfetched as involving the British royals and John F. Kennedy being like the 32nd claimant to the Scottish throne lol. They just had to stop the impending Scottish take over of America and then Britannia.
