I haven’t lived with my parents since I was 18 years old. I moved in with my boyfriend then, who two years later, became my husband. My father died in 2005, and my mother died in 2016.
My son, who was sz, lived with me until he was 27 years old, then, he moved into a group home, where he died three years later, at the age of 30.
I left Home at 17. Been on my own ever since.
Left at 21, never went back to live with my parents- take care of them, yes, but live there, no.

i am 60 and cannot afford an apartment of my own so i live with my mom who abuses me verbally emotionally and psychologically very often.

After age 20. Lived with roomies till 27. Then lived with Mom for a few years. Am 34 been on my own for two/half years and I love it.
