i like the Beatles, metallica, ben gibbard in the postal service and death cab for cutie and his solo stuff, iron and wine, the shins.
to be sure, these guys have a lot of crappy music too, but that’s pretty much any artist. if you know which songs to look for, these guys got it goin on.
I listen mainly to new age and relaxing soundtracks.
The only band I like are Bee Gees and isolated hits from various old artists.
