i knew someone from cape breton
Originally from the UK but living in San Francisco now. Fortunately I have dual citizenship or they wouldāve deported me.
Oh what the heckā¦
I am from Portsmouth New Hampshire a small city on the coast of northern New England USA but have lived in various other cities and towns around New England.
Who am I? Good question.
I studied abroad at the University of Cape Town in South Africa for 7 months back in 2010. I lived in Rondebosch. Itās such a beautiful country, I miss it terribly.
Cape Breton is a nice place. The accent is nice eh? Iāve never been west of Ontario. Whatās life like out your way?
Western Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh.
i have been in the state of Quebec and in Toronto. Quebec City is nice. Well that was already long time ago.
Vancouver is very nice, one of the few places where you could go snowboarding or skiing and then go to the beach in the same day!
we also get an immense amount of rain and overcast , but that makes the sunny days all the more appreciated, all in all I am happy to live out here. It is quite expensive though!!
I live in Nanjing, an east coastal city in China. It is very hot in summer and awfully cold in winter, but the spring and autumn are long and nice.
They are nice places. Toronto is crowded! I much prefer Helsinki over Toronto. And Oulu over Helsinki. Maybe itās because I wasnāt as ill when I was in Finland, but I remember feeling less crazy there. Probably just got sicker over the years. Iād go back but Iāve had so many days when I was showering that I picked up radio signals with warnings that I was not welcome back to Finland.
It sounds great in BC. I fear that if I were to visit BC, Iād be passing Alberta then get stuck there with all the jobs and money from oil and never leave.
