I got into the Wilson sisters in the seventies.
Uh, um, let me rephrase that. I really liked Heart in the late 1970’s.
There’s a lot that I probably forgot, so feel free to use the other column. These to me are the three most iconic queens of rock ‘n’ roll. But I can certainly understand someone liking Patti Smith or the pretenders singer or the wilson sisters too
Pat Benatar was good. And that lady who sings Total Eclipse of the Heart…(I just heard it on the radio)
Can’t beat the lead singer for the Headpins, though…
What a voice!
Joan jett 151515
Any Heart fans out there? This is probably one of my favorite songs to play on guitar.
I’d vote for plain out rock Joan Jet!
Dusty springfield… Son of a preacher man
I didn’t know who Janis Joplin was until I was16 years old and I became a huge fan after hearing me and Bobby McGee. She had so much power and emotion in her voice I even had a Janis Joplin tshirt that had a quote on the back. It said “be true to yourself it’s all you got”
I love Janis a lot too. She will always hold a special place in my heart
More of a Fleetwood Mac fan at this point
But they’re all good.
Kate Bush!?? I always considered some of her tracks classic rock anyway.
