Where is home for you?

I don’t know what that means but ok.

I grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I wonder if any of you remember that Merle Hagard song - “I’m proud to be an Okie from Muskogee”. Muskogee is nothing like the way it is portrayed in the song. Since my mother died I have no reason to go back to Muskogee, and lots of good reasons to stay away.

I have grown up in England in several towns in the same county. It’s a fairly stress-free environment. The only problem is you cannot afford to live without two wages, so I still live with my parents. I’d hate to have to move somewhere else, but unfortunately London commuters buy up all the property that raises the rent for local people. It sucks.

I did most of my growing up in a small town called Knob Noster, Missouri. It had a population of 2000. I didn’t leave there until the summer before my first year in high school. After that, I moved to Belleville, Illinois. When I was 21 I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for one year then back to Belleville. I lived here ever since.

Born in NYC. LIving now in Maryland. I will probably die here I have never fit in anywhere. Again, for that reason, metaphorically homeless.

I do but it is rare and usually gone within 24 hours while humans might stay sick for days… But I am only part alien, like Spock.

My home is in my apartment listening to the birds sing.

My pop was living in Redwood City for awhile when I was a kid staying with him.

It was very cool.

A favorite saying of the natives - Another beautiful day in paradise -

Yeah, Redwood City is alright. The only time I spent there was when I was up to no good.
