I can’t relate, after so much craziness I don’t know how I even made it to 30, how do people say life went too fast. Also I never understood why when people get older they get self conscious about age, it’s literally an imaginary number based on how humans perceive time lol.
I’m a week and a day off being 50. Believe me time and it’s perception does change as you age. Getting to 30 seemed a long time. Getting to 40 went ok. 40-50 I blinked and I’m there. It’s part of your mind aging for sure. Time becomes a different beast.
@rogueone is right. Time seems to go by quicker as you age. I’m 59 and the last 15 years have flown by. It’ s almost unbelievable that I’m 60. The good thing is that it motivates me to want to do as much as I can in life because I know the rest of my life is going to fly by and I don’t want to waste it.
Someone once put it this way. When you’re 5 years old, a year is 20% of your life span. At 40, a year is 2.5% At 80, it reduces to 1%
When young, time seems far off, way over there. I’m 42 and I see 50 right around the corner.
As I’m getting older time is zooming by so fast.
It’s unbelievable!
The exact same thing happened to me. 40 → 50 was just a blink of an eye
