im curious, can they know if you have cancer or atleast glean SOME evidence of it from a routine blood test? like ive had 3 or more blood tests done in recenty years when i was having heart pains. they tested red blood cell counts etc. i guess it depends but… i mean like is there a standard routine test they take or does it depend on what you came in for.
i have a fear that i have cancer sometimes but id assume they would have caught it by now if i did. I’ve had blood tests, ive had mri’s done etc so… idk
Twice I’ve had PSA results so high they be all “we know you have cancer, we just need to find out where.” Nope. Not yet. My friend Ray had a PSA test that came out okay. Six months later he went to the ER with incredible back pain and it was bone cancer. Stage four. Terminal. Spread there from his prostate.
The point of the test was, what?

damn thats crazy, i guess its harder to detect than i thought. i just assumed the panel they gave me was like a good diagnostic of general health
Could be lab errors. Our provincial government had tried to privatize the labs in our province around that time and the entire thing blew all to hell.
It’s a fact that they were screwing up tests.
