I forgot to mention AJR. I have four of their songs… 100 Bad Days, Sober Up, Burn the House Down, and Bang!

I’m thinking about buying an album of theirs.

Also, I’m thinking I’m a bit of a rarity for keeping up with new music. Most people seem to get their music tastes set on the two decades when they were in high school and in their 20s, and then just listen to that forever. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I never got into shoegaze very much (slowdive), though I’ve seen My Bloody Valentine in concert and that was amazing. The love of my life was a huge Sonic Youth fan. I think they’re great but I’ve never taken time to really listen to full albums.

Oh I love shoegaze, I wish I could have seen bothe My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive in concert. Sonic Youth is amazing too though
