No symptoms. I was overweight and not exercising and a fasting blood test determined I was pre diabetic.

I have urinary issues and get shakey. Were not sure if the urinary stuff is related or something else.

I didn’t have any signs except when my doctor did labs showing insulin resistance. He said my pancreas puts out 19 units for what would take a normal person 1 unit. Today I weighed in with the nurse and was 232.2…down from 238.8 two weeks ago, I am really trying to get my weight down.

Acanthosis nigracans (dark patches around the neck or groin), and skin tags are early warning signs.

My doctor telling me I had pre-diabetes. That, and I was taking Zyprexa.
