What to replace pizza with?

I god damn love pepperoni pizza with honey and jalapenos and tobacco sauce but its so bad for me.
Are there any simple meals I can replace it with? I love just sticking it in the oven and waiting 10 minutes an boom - spicy cheesy meaty bliss.

I tried to order chicken pizza instead as the are meant to have less saturated fast but the companies that do them just aren’t as good quality. I have to shop somewhere else to get the brand I like for other flavours

Have you tried Calzone or Pizza rolls? They sell them frozen on some stores.

I have to not eat pizza too. Mine because I can’t swallow much. I made a bean stew with sausage and I was afraid to eat it. When I ate it I was surprised it didn’t taste nasty and went down easily enough. If I eat it tomorrow too I’ll have enough for the rest of the month. I don’t know, I think I can get my throat fixed. But if it comes down to an operation I’m not doing it.

I mean I’ll have enough $'s for the rest of the month.

Rice with pepperoni and pizza sauce and your favorite toppings would probably work

Maybe you could do some kind of fancy pasta instead. Like have pasta but put some nice pizza toppings in it too like meat, mushrooms, olives etc. So you get your pizza fix maybe with less of the cheese and oils and high glicemic carbs that’s in bread (pasta is lower g.i. )

Excellent suggestion :+1: I used to have whole wheat pasta and it’s really good and more nutritious

Can you make your own? Put some toppings on a whole wheat pita?

Yes. The company I like sells just the base with tomato spread, so you just add whatever cheese and topping you want. Maybe I should do that.

Yeah this is a good idea too!! Ive been trying to avoid pasta, but its not exactly better than bread lol. Thanks for the idea.

They also have specialty pasta. Like veggie pasta that has some vegetables in it and also protein pasta that has high protein content. Or whole wheat

Maybe thin crust pizza?

I use this large square pita bread that’s delicious and low calorie for my homemade pizza. I skip on the cheese and put veggies on it with pizza sauce and crushed red peppers on it. It’s very low calorie and very tasty

Sounds delicious.

It is. I even sometimes put a little pizza seasoning on the red sauce along with the crushed red peppers before adding the veggies.

There is such a thing as gluten-free pizza

Vine ripe tomatoes with garlic salt pepper and lite Italian or malt vinegar , and potato bread fried with Avacado oil with pepper jack cheese. Or to go extra healthy plain cherry tomatoes, plain potato bread and a pepper jack cheese stick .

I don’t have an issue with gluten though. The problem is that its very high in saturated fat and mostly carbs.

My mom’s recipe for pizza cut one thin layer of squash apply tomato paste fat-free then apply on it several different other types of vegetables then as your cheese use flavored tofu there is absolutely no fat in the involved although you can see I never eat at my mom’s house that is pizza anyway because it’s too healthy for me
