Try amigurumi. It’s making dolls and stuff. You just use the single crochet stitch and increase\decreace. Super easy and fun. Try Ravelry.com for tons of free patterns.

@anon4362788 I’ve heard of that, I might do that… Haven’t tried increase and decrease yet so it’d let me practice my sch and inc and dec (I’ve mostly done dch

my mum is going blind and she enjoys crocheting, she does really simple shapes but she enjoys it 
i’ll try and suggest multi-coloured stars with stuffing in them

It’s addictive! Ive made my own dolls and things. Made my husband a Traveler from Destiny video game and a Princes Leia. I made my daughters Elsa and other things.
