I just curious. I think I’d like to use other forums. But I am having trouble finding any I like.
I have mostly transitioned to just here and Facebook. A used to be on several forums, but as Facebook support groups got more popular most of my forum friends moved over there. I still check in on a couple other physical disability and family planning groups.
Schizophrenia reddit I tried and hearing voices reddit. Their not as well laid out as this one though
I’ve checked out reddit, but didn’t like it. To much drug talk that was triggering to my addiction issues.
This is my forum, I like the people here, and feel comfortable to share.
I use Reddit, Facebook, and I sometimes post on avatar forums. (where your avatar is a doll and you use the points you get from posting to buy hair and clothes and stuff for it)
I’m very active on Discord, though.
I’m trying a couple PTSD forums, but they aren’t very active. Responses trickle in over a period of a couple days to a few weeks. They kind of feel like an empty house whereas here there’s always someone home.
I’m on pulsatile tinnitus reddit
It has been helpful
And reddit scz but I’m not the biggest fan of the layout either
And binge eating disorder one to support us through our lifestyle eating habits.
None ive been active in, This is first.
but ive written in some travel forum.
Not active on any other forum apart from here. Not on that poxy Facebook either - too many narcissists voting on each others stupid fcking selfies.
I belong to several teams on my weight loss website, Sparkpeople. I co-lead one and belong to seven others. I spend a lot of time there throughout the day. (Anyone on Sparkpeople, I am also SHMOOKITTY there, come and send me a friend add and tell me who you are here).
On Facebook, I belong to several Christian and vegetarian groups, but I mostly just read rather than post and respond.
This is the only one I use.
I browse Reddit occasionally, but I do not post or comment. Their demographics skew white males 18 to 30, and it often feels that way too.
Also, I find that there is a large community of people on mental health subreddits who seem very focused on narcissism. My “narc” dad this or my “narc” ex girlfriend did that. It’s a lot of complaining and blaming other people and calling them narcissists. I don’t know. Maybe I’m the only one who notices this or it’s only on a few subreddits. I don’t think it’s very healthy. Anyway, it’s not for me.
I’m only on this forum and Facebook.
That’s all.
I miss chatting.
I had a friend I chatted with daily and it was lovely.we video chatted too but he wants nothing to do with me now.
I was wondering if there are any live chat sites that are not about religion or sexual.
I would like to be more social and have friends again.
They all left me .
Ebay Business Seller Forum
I joined another mental health forum while I was gone on suspension from here. It doesn’t appear to be as active though. I also sometimes go on forums for video games.
I use agora road. very nice people over there
I guess I shouldnt tell you i think my ex was a narcissist. Unfortunately, I think people with mental illness attract this kind of person.
You can tell me, I don’t mind!
I’ve definitely been in some toxic relationships myself, with a few people who probably fit the bill.
It’s just that on some of the subreddits there is a big focus on narcissists and how they are ruining your life. It’s kind of like how in Al-anon they want you to focus less on the alcoholic in your life and more on your own needs and recovery. That’s the goal at least. Not just sitting around talking about how awful the other person is.
Anyhow, I’ve never seen you post anything like that before. And it would be fine even if you did. It’s just very intense on certain subreddits.
He just called me tonight. I wont call him back I promise.
