I know the forum is about promoting health. Just curious what you smokers out there smoke? I hope this doesn’t inspire anyone out there to pickup the habit
I personally smoke Marlboro reds, one of the worst ones
I’ll quit one day lol

I used to smoke either Marlboro reds or Camel Wides. I quit a little over a year ago. I saw that Camels in the convenience store here are now almost $12 a pack! I don’t think i could afford smoking anymore.
Yeah the price of smoking is absolutely insane ($300 a month habit where I live)
Almost as bad as dying from lung cancer
Haven’t smoked in a long time but here’s my history of smokes:
Started as a young teenager with Marlboro reds.
Had a brief but passionate affair with Camel menthol lights as an older teen. Very smooth. Sometime after that I flirted with Parliament lights. We used to call them p-funks.
Then it was Camel lights for years and years and years until I quit.
Thanks for the walk down cigarette memory lane.
camel crush menthol silver when i do
Same I started at 14 with Marlboro reds (stole
them from my dad) I was surprised a lot of us go for the Marlboro reds lol
And yes cigarettes are a little sentimental in a way, but congrats on giving up the habit! Some of your guys’ threads on giving up smoking have inspired me to quit for atleast 3 days haha
I mostly smoke nonfilter 305s. I also smoke nonfilter Camel, nonfilter Parliament, and Benson & Hedges Premium.
When I smoked from 14 to 28 on and off (mostly on) I went through many different type of smokes. Belmonts, Blue Nexts, Du Maurier, Benson And Hedges, Ect…
Never again. It’s almost been a full year since I quit. My grandpa had COPD from smoking before he died. My mom has bad lungs from smoking, she’s 55.
A popular 25 pack could cost you over $50 AUD, a lesser known brand could cost up to 50$ for a 30 pack… that was start of the ueat too. But you can get under counter ones for about 18$ for a 20 pack!
I used to smoke about 10-20 per day!
Edit: I’m happy I stopped!
Benson and Hedges blue and Lucky Strike
I used to roll my own
I could get a 6 oz house blend like Marlboro or camel for $8.50
That would last a week or so amongst sharing with roommates
I’m just happy I quit, I’m not forking over cash to anyone to slowly kill me
Idk it always seemed like the ones you roll yourself are a lot stronger than even Marlboro reds.
But you might save money by doing it idk
And yeah I don’t blame for what you said there
That’s what I was smoking when I quit in 1992. Pretty sure the packages didn’t have the big health warning back then.
Yeah the warning is a lot less in the U.S
I’m sure tobacco companies pay a lot to keep that off the packaging here.
They had cool pictures and sponsored sporting events! Lol
Lucky strike reds
Newports the right way!
When I was smoking cigarettes, I was buying cheap packs like Players and Next for $6 a pack.
Occasionally I’d splurge and get premium packs that cost $10 like Belmonts or Dumariers.
On holiday I smoke Marlboro Red, Camels or Lucky Strikes
On a normal schedule golden Virginia tobacco
Been on duty free tobacco for two years now
Some family go out of the country often and they’re kind enough to get them
Costs about a third of price in England
