It’s the day before the Autumn Equinox and it certainly feels like it. The air is slightly brisk. The skies are a little cloudy. It’s 64 degrees F
It’s 34 F this morning with intermittent rain showers…we may get a wintery mix tonight.
100 degrees f. last day…tomorrow 78 for a high…one …more…day.
It’s ok here today.
Don’t know the exact temps, but it’s warm and a little chilly.
Sunny, 22 Celsius (71 F)
1C or 34F here this AM. I hit the lake anyway. The 5/4mm wetsuit works, but it was bracing for sure.
Wow, there is a huge difference in everyones weather this time of year. In Florida today we are getting a high temp of 89F or 31C with a mix of bright sun with scattered thunderstorms.
You have no idea how jealous I am of you right now.
It’s hot and sunny where I am. Monday it’s finally supposed to cool off a bit. I’m looking forward to it
@shutterbug You have no idea how hot it is here in July and August. LoL I think I might be jealous of your cooler weather.
You won’t be when I’m posting that it’s -45F here.
Does it really get that cold? Ok, I am not jealous of you anymore. All traces of jealousy have been revoked immediately. LoL
We had a record breaking cold snap this past February that was so bad people’s home furnaces struggled to keep up and the demand from heaters and furnaces overwhelmed our power grid here in Alberta, Canada. An emergency alert was sent out asking people to turn off lights and unplug vehicle block heaters so that they would not have to start rotating blackouts.
My wife’s vehicle said it was -55C that morning, which is -67F. The highway was littered with vehicles with blown tires on my trip home. Tire pressure drops with the cold and if people don’t reinflate to proper pressure, the low tires actually overheat and blow. A lot of people didn’t bother adding air and then got stuck on the highway at a time when the wait for a tow truck was 72+ hours. Dumb asses. I wouldn’t have been on the road at all except it was my last chance to see a terminally ill friend before he passed.
Wow! Well now I know exactly why Florida gets packed with what we call “snowbirds” in the winter months. It very rarely if ever freezes here. They come down here and live in motorhomes and other RV’s in our state parks, private campgrounds and even Walmart parking lots.
I’m not able to travel to the U.S. because of my heart (can’t purchase travel medical insurance), but if I could, I would head to Arizona. I was in a Waffle House in Florida some years back and people started waving guns around in the middle of my meal. Your state has been off my menu ever since.
Oh yes! We Floridians love our guns.
Rain and storms today.
And your bail bond outlets. Can’t swing a dead cat without hitting three of them over there.
