I love Donnie darko, fight club, a clockwork orange and lilo and stitch ️
I love “Roadie” over all films because it makes me really laugh and cry. It’s got Meatloaf, Roy Orbison, Blondie and Alice Cooper has an acting part in it. I never tire of it… second to that is “cool hand luke” with Paul Newman
I liked the Matrix. the impossible is possible!
can’t watch films anymore. watched R rated ones, when young. messed me up.
Anything by Monty Python. Ever since I first seen The Holy Grail I’m rather leery of rabbits.
Hoop Dreams is probably my favorite…the scenes and narration are always with me.
@ThePickinSkunk that rabbit is dynamite !! call out the holy hand grenade. haha…
“Behind the Green Door”. A true classic.
The acting is suburb, the special effects are out of this world, and the plot is very clever and intriguing. I could watch it over and over with out getting tired of seeing it. I think it was ahead of it’s time but very under-rated. The cinematography was innovative too.
The last three are mine ones of favourites too!
It depends on which movie I watched last. Enception is very good, though it is a little confusing at the beginning. There is a kind of obscure film with Al Pacino in it called “People I Know” that I liked a lot. Al Pacino has incredible range as an actor.
Lion King because Hakuna Matata!
The Thing by john Carpenter. A sci fi classic.
Hakunamatata!!!
The thing is my favorite movie too
The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa is my favorite.
Did you watch the modern day prequel, also called the thing? Was ok but not as good as the 80s one. Have also got the 50s original movie in b&w.
I prefer the 80s version with Kurt Russel.
One of my favorites for sure!
The special effects still look pretty good today. Had zero cgi.
Question - you know right at the end there is only Kurt Russel and the black guy left. Do you think either one of them was infected? I never did myself but someone suggested to me it is supposed to be left as a cliffhanger.
Yes, I was shocked that Marilyn Chambers didn’t win an Academy Award.
In that genre, I’m more inclined towards Pizza Boy: He Delivers, a true cinematic masterpiece.
Yeah, she was robbed. Maybe she will get a “lifetime achievement award” at next years Oscars though.
She should. Ron Jeremy might disagree.
