My favorite film is Torch Song Trilogy.
I can relate to the character of Ed, a man struggling to meet his parents’ expectations while being true to himself.

Hey @Jimbob
I always wondered myself.
I think that it was left as a cliffhanger.
My memory is a bit foggy.
Haven’t seen that film in years.
i have enjoyed a lot. Pirates of the Caribbean is favored.
I just recently heard about “Shine”. A '90 classic about talented pianist who later develops schizophrenia.
Check it out.
I guess my favourites are " Hannibal", “Fracture”, “Blue Valentine”, “Take Shelter”, “21 grams”, " Shutter Island", " Split", " Stonehears asylum" … I like psychological horrors/thrillers so the list is pretty long.
Wet Hot American Summer, because it is freaking hilarious!
“I said I’m gonna go hump the fridge. What you may not know is that I also own a bottle of dick cream, I fondle my sweaters, and I often like to smear mud on my ass.”
My favorite line from it lol, though perhaps you’d have to see the movie to get where all of that came from.
the good the bad and the ugly. it’s awesome.
Better Off Dead with John Cusack. LOL
As a film junkie… i cannot pick 1…or even 10…
@metime i watched a doc about the most prolific samurai actor… he was the unkempt ronin in 7 samurai… which is one of the most influential movies of all time… despite no one but the nerds realizing it…
Donnie Darko is one of my favorites too
Blade runner…
Can’t say any other movie got it right. The Gibson novels are my all time favorite. Technological dystopia.
Shen Zhen is where it’s at for real. I just order some cheap components from there. Knock off coating masking some genuine Intel chips. We’re a trick to get working but he challenge paid off and now I’m on ac wifi.
Long live the maker movement!
This man. All his movies. Just genius.
Airplane! Surely I can’t be serious. I am, and please don’t call me Shirley.
I’m a big fan of director John Waters.
Pink Flamingos and Multiple Maniacs are classics.
I am a huge movie fan but the classics I think of right now are: the usual suspects and unforgiven.
For fun I’ll say machete is good too
The Life and Times of Walter Mitty was a good movie.
Zoolander 1 was hilarious.
The love witch. The labyrinth (that one with David Bowie that made me as a 4 yr old want to marry him) Harry Potter is great but the books are best. Spirited away, howls moving castle, ponyo! Breakfast at tiffanys. Pride and prejudice. The craft, Beetlejuice. I really like any movie with Audrey Hepburn or Brigitte Bardot. I also really like witch movies, and Ghibli movies.
I also really love children’s movies. Watched the new version of Big Friendly Giant (B.F.G) that was a great movie.
I guess I should narrow it down and explain why I love it so much. If I had to say my top movie right now, it would be The Love Witch, and it’s my favourite because of the aesthetics. I really like movies that have beautiful colour schemes, (anyone watch Marie Antoinette?) I’m also a big fan of foreign films and lesbian films. (Not the porn kind) (not that I don’t enjoy that as well)
There is a good film named “Town Without Pity” that is very good that anyone can see for free on the internet. There is also one named “Angel Heart” that is free on the internet and is very good. It’s creepy, though.
ME TOO!
We must be perverts, huh?
As much as I love his films, I love him more.
His interviews are incredible, he’s a sharp guy and has a killer wit.
One interview he was talking about Divine and got choked up,
It was heartbreaking.
He’s so interesting.
