My favorite shoes are my drumming shoes. They are made by adidas. They are black with the 3 stripes on them. The are called gazzels. They are not made to be drumming shoes, but I think they are good drumming shoes. They are super stylish while playing the drums.

I typically buy Skechers. They’re fairly cheap, I get them for $50-60, and they are comfortable. I’ve been wearing Skechers for years, but before that it was Vans. Vans kinda suck, though, in that they have no arch support, completely flat soles. Maybe that’s better for skateboarding, idk, but it’s not good in general imo.

I like these shoes for the drums because the soul of the shoes are a little thinner than other shoes. Also they have less padding. So it enables you to feel the bass drum pedal more with your feet. They are still comfortable wear around as well.
What sort of boots? I think I still have my steel-toe work boots that I wore at the foundry, as well as at a couple other blue collar jobs I have held. They’re not that comfortable for regular use, though; they were PPE for me at those jobs, that’s it.
