what is the opposite to psychosis?
Sane…mentally healthy…!!!
I don’t know man… relaxation and trusting the world… indefinite mental silence… a stroke of boredom in there…
not feeling harassed by even the nicest of people I see.
does every thing have a opposite?
most things are a spectrum… not exactly opposite…
in math it happens sometimes… the sqaure root of -1 is i… where as the the square root of 1 is 1…
i DNE(does not equal) 1 or -1… so that breaks absolute opposites in one case at least…
Not all colors have opposites…
There is no anti-gravity…
No one is negative 6 feet tall…
Normal-osis.
Overwhelmingly dull repetitive, desperate acts to appear similar to every other schmuck they see.
I’d say alignment. Thinking like the majority of other people around you, as evidenced by their comfort and agreement with the things you are saying and the way you are behaving, and the comfortable free flow of communication. Alignment is also responding to people, things and situations in a way others view as rational and appropriate, and of course feeling comfortable yourself with your responses too.
I’ve forgotten what it is because psychosis has existed over half of my life.
In some rather restricted sense it may be parkinson’s. There was a video on here a while ago with a ponytailed scientist touching on this when talking about the history of antipsychotics. I’ll look if I can find it. The general idea was that over-medicating parkinson’s patients with the medication of the time would induce a psychosis, and conversely, over-medicating psychotic patients with some med’s lead to parkinsonian symptoms.
Edit:
The link with Parkinson’s is discussed at 1:01:10.
